  The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing
    and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting     Manager is responsible for managing that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position     addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year end
    review preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Accounting Manager will have contact with senior-level
    Attorneys, Bankers, Executives and venders which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.

   Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
  • Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements
  • Ensure the quarterly and annual Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and
    accurate manner
  • Sales and Use Tax returns
  • Supports budget and forecasting activities
  • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources
    while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions
  • Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and firm wide
    managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like
  • Ensure timely issuance of year end review and tax returns
  • Supervise staff to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the
    workflow of the department
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the companies Bankers, Attorneys, Accountants
    and consultants
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
  • Monthly Sales and commission reporting
  • Support Executives with special projects and workflow process improvements

   Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, CPA required
  • 5-7 years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
  • Previous Accounting Management responsibilities at a DME company helpful
  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast pace setting
  • Experience with MAS200 accounting system
  • Strong experience with Excel, Access and word a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

   Assistive Technology Equipment is currently seeking a Rehab Assistant for the Franklin, MA location.

   
Coordinate paperwork, workflow, and schedule appointments for the service department, while providing outstanding
   and efficient  service to customers. Work with supervisor to assure the department is functioning effectively.

   This position will be managing:

  • Assist Rehab
  • Help schedule appointments and coordinate and distribute all paperwork for the Sales Team
    in an orderly fashion
  • Supervise equipment delivered to maintain quality control
  • Provide compassionate and positive interaction to customers
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a constructive manner, serving as an intermediary
    between customer concerns and company needs.
  • Immediately investigate and resolve client problems concerning about equipment requiring
    service, working to obtain responsiveness
  • Assist with pre qualification of insurance
  • Assure proper paperwork documentation and compliance with JCAHO
  • Work with technicians and RTS’ to ensure quick turn-around of equipment in need of repair
  • Stay current with all policies and procedures  

   Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret verbal/ written instructions and communicate effectively
  • Organizational skills, time management skills.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to find appropriate solutions
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Previous HME or DME experience a must
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Experience as a team lead or supervisor a plus

  • Position is responsible for repairs of home health care and rehab equipment in a timely fashion,
    will involve lifting, moving of the equipment, utilizing various tools and transporting equipment to
    the shop when necessary
  • Providing outstanding and efficient service to customers by being responsive to their needs
  • Assist with maintaining the part inventory and in shop area when time permits
  • Assist with scheduling and purchasing parts when time permits

   Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, and modification of home health care and rehab equipment
  • Maintain assigned Service Van and service tools in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Assure that the vehicle is stocked with the appropriate equipment to perform routine service calls
  • Work with Service Supervisor to maintain safety program in workshop area
  • Work with technicians to ensure quick turn-around of equipment in need of repair to maintain
    adequate stock of patient care and order parts as needed in most cost effective manner
  • Make sure Service Tickets are complete and detailed
  • Assure proper paperwork documentation and compliance with JCAHO
  • Stay current with all policies and procedures related to your position and department and share that
    information with the assigned staff

   Qualifications

  • Previous Rehab/HME or DME experience a plus
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Experience with electronics helpful
  • Ability to interpret verbal/ written instructions and communicate effectively
  • Organizational skills, time management skills
  • Problem solving skills and ability to find appropriate solutions
